This explains what Foodopia does with your personal data on the web and in our mobile app.
What we collect
- Account: username, email address, password (stored hashed), and whatever you add to your profile.
- Content: your posts, comments, media, reactions, and private messages.
- Technical: IP address, browser or device type, and server logs.
- App: a push notification token, plus basic device and crash information.
Why we use it
To run your account and the Community, to send notifications you turned on, to keep the service secure and free of abuse, and to meet our legal obligations. Where the law requires consent, such as non-essential cookies or marketing email, we ask first and you can withdraw it at any time.
What other members see
Your profile and anything you post is visible to other members according to your privacy settings. Private messages are visible to their participants and, where a report or a legal obligation requires it, to moderators.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary to log you in and keep your session. The mobile app does not use advertising identifiers.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers who run the service for us, currently hosting, email delivery, and push notification delivery.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, or delete your entire account.
